Welcome to Bamvello. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit bamvello.com or buy from us. By using our store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.
1. About us
Bamvello is an online store offering bamboo and natural-material essentials for the home. Our store is hosted on Shopify. Our products are shipped by our supplier partners, often from warehouses outside Canada.
2. Using our store
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or country, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order. You agree not to use our store for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security, or to submit false information.
3. Products and descriptions
We work to describe our products accurately, including their materials, dimensions and care. Please note:
- Products made from natural materials such as bamboo, wood, coconut shell and plant fibres vary naturally in grain, colour and size. These variations are not defects.
- Product photos are styled, and some are digitally created or enhanced, to show each product in a setting. Colours can look different on different screens. Props shown in photos are not included unless the product description says so.
- Dimensions are approximate and based on our suppliers' specifications.
- Please follow the care instructions on each product page.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise, and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. Taxes and shipping are shown at checkout. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
6. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery times, shipping costs, returns and refunds are explained in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The content on this website, including the Bamvello name and logo, text, images and design, belongs to Bamvello or its licensors. You may not copy or use it without our written permission.
8. Third-party services
Our store uses third-party services such as payment providers, carriers and an accessibility tool. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bamvello is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our store or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order applies to that order.
